Diversified Machining, Inc. is a small family-owned machine shop located in Forest Hill, Maryland. Take a minute to learn more about the history of our company and the people who comprise our team.

Our Story

In 1967, Joe Marshall Sr and a business partner founded our company under the same D&M Machining. They started out small and subsequently added onto the original building many times as the business expanded. Today, Joe III and his brother have taken over the company from their father, and they look forward to continuing the legacy of quality that we are known for. From our humble beginning with only 6-8 staff members, we have since grown to employ 40-50 people. Everyone who works with us is dedicated to producing quality parts for the customers who depend on us.

A Proven Track Record of Success With more than 50 years of experience under our belts, we have the skills and experience to ensure that our customers are entirely satisfied with our work. We've worked hard over the decades to maintain effective and mutually beneficial relationships with the governments and facilities with which we conduct business.
